After I lugged my camera through the absolutely packed Beer & Wine Tasting during the Bluegrass Fest in RF, I realized I didn't even take one photo. Ky & Taylor were so happy to oblige me in remedying that problem... :)

The hydro-electric plants in the dams along the Kinnickinnic River are up for renewal and part of the renewal process is a public comment and suggestion period. A further, lively discussion of removing the dams themselves has been sparked. The fantastic turnout at the comment session made me happy to live in a town where so many people are engaged and eager to learn and/or voice their opinions.

These two were my favorite.

Ky & I spent a weekend at the cabin and made the trip to visit the ice caves in the Apostle Islands National Lakeshore. Absolutely gorgeous little piece of my beloved Wisconsin. It was also pretty wild to see SO many people there--but it's been all over the news, radio, etc. As I said to my parents (who were lucky enough to visit the caves the last time they were accessible 5 years ago)... they've been discovered. I would highly recommend checking them out next time they're accessible!
